I think it's super important to really hear my clients before we begin a service. This involves historical analysis, previous experiences, any complications and goals. Then we set a clear direction together.
industry trained and experience
Ive been in the hairdressing industry for over 20 years! Working with both male and female clients. Working across numerous salons, completing courses and educational exploration has helped refine my own style and direction. I also keep a close eye on the industry, new techniques, styles, colour, products and colour science.
one-to-one services and treatments
One thing that often frustrated me in a salon environment was juggling clients, and working with multiple customers during development times. I could see how this would sometimes irritate some of the clients who perhaps felt ignored or forgotten about while the stylist was elsewhere. Working as a freelancer completely removes this customer service barrier and ensures you have my full attention the whole time.

Root Tap/Smudge
Both techniques soften the root area to blend highlights and create a more seamless grow-out. A root smudge is usually a quicker, softer blur at the root, while a root melt is blended further down the hair for a more melted, diffused transition. They are very similar techniques with slightly different placement and blending intensity.
Money Piece & Face Frame
The money piece and face frame are techniques used to add brightness or impact as feature to compliment the face. The benefits creates a high lighted area that blends backwards. This means a client can feel super bright and blonde, while maintaining a classy lived in look that grows out perfectly and easy to maintain.
